Night in Madrid is never ending, but those who love the night tend to be very fussy when it comes to choose their music events. That is why we are going to introduce, courtesy of the Sterling Hotel in Madrid, you to the main music venues in Madrid that offer life gigs late at night.

One of the best-known venues is La Riviera, in Paseo Bajo de la Virgen del Puerto, next to Rio Manzanares. This great space offers rock music gigs as well as electronic music mainly, although it also has some pop. This venue is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 12am till 6am.

Another of the classic venues is Galileo Galilei, a venue situated in Calle Galileo 100. You can get there easily by underground getting off at Islas Filipinas. Variety is its best feature, because its programme includes sing-a-song writers, jazz lovers, country, pop, rock and many more. Doors open from 6pm till 4am.

If you come to Madrid, and stay in Hotel Sterling, you can’t leave without having tasted some of the flavours of the Madrilian night just on your doorstep. The nightclub Morocco is one of the oldest in the city, inaugurated in 1951, it has since then been entertaining several generations of young Madrilians.

You will find Morocco in Calle Marqués de Leganés, 7, just 5 minutes from Hotel Sterling. Doors open at 00.00am and dancers need to leave at 6.00am on Friday and Saturday nights and 5.30am on public holidays.

Morocco started off offering not just a typical night club with music, dance and drink, but also with shows, burlesque, performances, stand up comedians and the best DJs of the times. This long life and excellent quality has helped this venue to make it accross the century and it has come out in the 21st century stronger than ever.

Nowadays, Morocco is still one of the best known clubs in Madrid. Its music and shows are still the best in the city, and with the added advantage to be just a few minutes walk from your hotel, Sterling in Madrid.

The night life in Madrid, say those who understand about it, never ends. Those who like going out at night are spoil for choice in Madrid, as there are lots of different places where they can go dancing around beautiful people and have a drink.

Let’s visit today some of the most fashionable night-clubs in Madrid. We will start in Calle Juan Bravo 31, where we will find Keeper, with two floors that are quite different. Pop lovers will have to go up to the first floor, while those house lovers will find their space on the ground floor.

Cocó Madrid is in Calle Alcalá 20. It is the place to go to find beautiful people, with commercial house music and also some pop-dancy song to enjoy yourself and continue partying.

In Calle Atocha, 125 you will find Kapital, a spectacular venue, it is huge, with different music areas: funky, house, techno, dance, pop, etc. There is also a place for Spanish music, something that is always nice.

In Calle Marques de Lema, 7, is Coppola, with commercial music to keep dancing till late.
